Dear Mathematics’ Students,
Welcome to your 11th grades mathematics class. Congratulations for your best performance on the last 10th grades class. I’m really glad for getting chance to be in a course with you. I could not wait any longer for getting you in our session of sharing, exploring and experiencing what a wonderful mathematics could be. For supporting them, I looking forward your great participations as the effort to make your mathematics experiences become the existing one.
For the next two semesters, we will learn about statistic, probability, algebra, trigonometry and calculus. As the guidance, you will get a module which consists of any materials that will be discussed in the class. Therefore, please read it thoroughly before the class started. I promise it will really help.
In every session, there will be group activities both in the classroom and also outside the classroom. Some experiments will be conducted for proving some mathematics theorems, axioms or postulate. You will be divided into a different group for each activity so that you will have a variety groups for two semesters. In other hand, you will also get an individual homework as your assignment. It has to be submitted at the next session.
As the 2nd year senior high school students, I think you could be given a responsibility to organize yourself, in order to help our learning process well done. Therefore, at the first session of our learning, we will make a classroom agreement together. Prepare your ideas and think about your needs that should be considered in developing a well organized classroom activity. We will develop that agreement according to our needs so that it could support the learning process to meet the objectives.
I hope you could take many advantages from all activities that we have been prepared for developing your mathematics experiences.
Cheers,
Susi Dariah
Your Mathematics' Teacher
